As it looked like the real deal, many people were fooled into believing that the untethered jailbreak had come at last for the iPhone 5. However this was just a scam and the Dev Team have said that you should be wary of anyone who asks for money for the untethered jailbreak. wants people to believe that the website has been set up by the Dev Team, however it is spell “Chrnic” Dev Team. The owner of the website says that they have the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 and the iPhone 5, along with the iPhone 4S, 3GS, iPad 4, iPad 3 and 2 and the iPad Mini and the new iPod Touch 5th generation. Be aware that the website does look very convincing, but don’t get conned. It doesn’t work.

The website is not asking for money, rather it sends you to a page where you are supposed to take a survey. At the moment there is no untethered jailbreak out there. If and when the jailbreak does become available the iPhone Dev Team along with Chronic Dev Team, have said that they will post it in news sites and blogs. So for now you will just have to wait patiently for the untethered jailbreak to come out.
