If you love the industrial design of the iPhone 5 and the flexibility of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean then this little knock-off may interest you. Dubbed the i5, this China-made smartphone is a doppleganger for the iPhone 5 and runs the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

i5: iPhone 5 lookalike with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

According to Chinese site Mtksj, the iPhone 5 clone will set you back around $230 which is around three times less than the real iPhone 5 which runs iOS 6. And it isn’t going cheap on specs though.

The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean i5 boasts a 2GHz Mediatek MT6589 quad core processor, 4-inches LCD display with a 1135 x 640 pixel resolution, 8-megapixel camera, 1GB RAM and internal storage options ranging from 8GB to 32GB.

Given its uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 5, we doubt this smartphone will be able to make its way outside of China without repercussions. So, would you splurge on an iPhone 5 lookalike if it didn’t have iOS 6 as well?
