iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak Finally Successful, Cydia Running Smooth
It was a gruesome couple of months but the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak has finally come true and with it we now have screenshots of Cydia running very smoothly on what appears to be an iPhone 6S.
The iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak however surprisingly didn’t come from Pangu or TaiG. The hack was instead from Luca Todesco, an Italian hacker who proved his jailbreak tweak was successful by posting multiple screenshot of his iPhone running restriction free and downloading Cydia apps.
Now before you get too excited do take note that the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak that Luca has created isn’t available for download. He is likely to save these exploits to use once iOS 9.2.1 or iOS 9.3 is finally out of beta and released. The last thing you want is for Apple to seal the exploits found and prove the device cannot be jailbroken again with the public release of the new updates OS.
With that said, Luca did stress that the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak was more difficult than the previous ones and urged those in the jailbreak community to avoid the update if they wished to keep their iPhone or iPad jailbreak. We will keep you posted as more develops.
