Infiniti Q60 Project Black S: What We Know Now

By  |

We already knew that Infiniti was working on the Black S version of their Q60 model but there were not a whole lot of details about the vehicle until now.

Infiniti was at the Paris Motor Show where they reveal a lot more details about the concept. Called the Q60 Project Black S, the vehicle will be coming in with a 3.0 liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine that will be paired with a few motor-generator units. The combination would allow the vehicle to deliver about 563hp.

While that might look like a lot of power, Infiniti also highlighted that the system is also heavier than average with an estimated weight of 441pounds. To balance things out, Infiniti will be fitting the vehicle with carbon fiber hood, roof, and fenders. They also took out the rear seats.

The vehicle was also given a larger grille and a rear wing to improve the aerodynamics of the model. After all that, they still did not reveal if the vehicle will ever be offered to the public.
