HTC Vive VR Cutting Loose Soon

By  |

The one thing that has been stopping players from a real immersive experience when it comes to VR headsets like the HTC Vive is the cords that keep getting in the way. Well, players will not have to deal with that soon as HTC releases the new wireless adapter for their VR headset.

However, before you rush out to get yourself one, you will need to take note that the adapter itself will cost you $300. That is a lot of pay just to go wireless. The adapter will work with the HTC Vive headset.

If you want to fit it to your HTC Vive Pro, you will need to get an additional compatibility pack so that it will fit. That will cost you an additional $60. The wireless adapter will come with a battery pack that will allow players to go wireless for two and a half hours. HTC will also be offering two-month of free subscription to Viveport.
