HTC One X+ now available for pre-order in US

The SIM free HTC One X+ can already be pre-ordered in the UK through Clove and it now seems that Expansys USA have put the unlocked version of the One X+ up for pre-order in the US. However at the moment the cost of the device and shipping are not known.

If you put in your order for the HTC One X+ now, Expansys say that they will not charge your credit card or ship the device, without confirmation that you still want it, when the phone is in stock. There will also not be any cancellation charges.

One thing to consider if you are with AT&T is that the device that is available for pre-orders is the unlocked handset and will not work with LTE offered by the carrier. It is thought that AT&T will have their own version towards the end of November. The European unlocked handset from Expansys could work with the 3G and the HSPA network of AT&T though.

The HTC One X+ is very similar to the original One X as it comes with the same quad core processor, but with the Tegra 3 which has been clocked at 1.7GHz. It has 1GB of RAM and comes with a display of 4.7 inches Super LCD2 with a resolution of 1280 x 720, which is covered with Gorilla Glass 2.

It has an 8 megapixel camera on the back that comes with ImageSense tech and BSI sensor and lens of f/2.0. There is a 1.6 megapixel front camera and it has NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support. The One X+ comes with a battery of 2100mAh.
