Owners of the HTC One X will be pleased to know that the update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is finally here for the majority of users around the world.

Many followers have been tweeting about the update, confirming that is available for the HTC One X and making its way onto devices that have been unlocked. Already the update has been released in the following countries:

UK, Argentina, Russia, Dominican Republic, Peru, Brazil and Sri Lanka, and over the next few hours in will expand into even more markets suggest sources.

Just as with the Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X in India, owners of the device elsewhere will have a small 1.6MB download, which is then followed by a 364.54MB download. Anyone who wants to check their CID on their device can do so at the Google Play Store by searching for CID. If you haven’t yet received a notification about the update you should go into Settings> About> Software updates> Check now.
