Honda Saves On Design Costs: 2017 Honda Odyssey Shares With CR-V

By  |

Honda have been saving on design costs when it comes to the 2017 Honda Odyssey as the vehicle has taken cues from the Honda CR-V and the Honda Pilot. This may mean that the vehicle is going to offer Apple CarPlay along with Android Auto.

On the Honda Pilot in the EX and above trims you have access to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With the 2017 Honda Odyssey offering the same design it could also offer the mobile phone technology. This would allow the driver to listen to music off their device along with taking hands free calls and text messages.

The Honda CR-V cabin was treated to a more upscale look and we think that the same is going to happen with the 2017 Honda Odyssey. We could even see the physical volume control button come back to the Odyssey, as it did with the Honda Pilot.

Once the 2017 Honda Odyssey has made its way out Honda could launch a hybrid version and this would be able to compete against the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.
