Honda Saves On Design Costs: 2017 Honda Odyssey Shares With CR-V

By  |

Honda saved some money when it came to designing the 2017 Honda Odyssey as it took the style from the Honda CR-V along with the Honda Pilot. Due to this we think that the Odyssey could offer up both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

If you go for the Honda Pilot in the EX and above trim you get both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so it would make sense for the same technology to be found in the 2017 Honda Odyssey. The technology means that drivers can gain access to their devices music along with using hands free texts and talking.

The cabin of the Honda CR-V has been designed in a look that is more upscale and we could see the same design in the cabin of the Honda Odyssey too. One thing that people complained was missing from the Honda Pilot was the physical volume button and this has now come back to the Pilot and it may also arrive back on the Odyssey.

Following the launch of the 2017 Honda Odyssey we should also get to see the arrival of the hybrid version and this would go up against the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid.
