Honda Ridgeline Could Pay High Price For Price Tag

The Honda Ridgeline could pay a high price for having such a high price tag as people might turn their backs on it, even though it has a ride that is comfortable and it does make a superb utility vehicle.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline has been built around the global light truck platform and as such it offers a lot of the same structure as the Pilot from Honda. So the Ridgeline is more along the lines of a Pilot with a bed.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline offers the 3.5 litre V6 engine and this gives up 280 horses along with 262 torque. It has the six speed automatic transmission and it is offered with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

There is a great deal to like about the 2017 Honda Ridgeline but one thing that hasn’t gone down well is the price tag of the vehicle. The base price is $41, 370 and many people have said that it should be more along the lines of $18,000. Bear in mind that if you pay out $43k you can get the F150 Lariat.

The dealerships only tend to stock the higher trim versions which come with a price tag that is a lot higher. You can get the Chevrolet Colorado with specs that are very similar but it comes in with a price tag of $5k less.

But has the Honda Ridgeline outpriced itself?
