By  |

Honda was at the Paris Auto Show where they showed off their new Honda CR-V model for the European market. When the vehicle arrives, it will be entering the European market as Honda’s first electric SUV model.

The Honda CR-V hybrid will be coming in with a 2.0-liter i-VTEC petrol engine that will be paired with two electric motors and a single fixed-gear transmission which will allow for a smoother transfer of torque. The hybrid engine will be able to offer about 181hp and 232lb ft of torque when it arrives.

The front wheel drive model will return about 53.3mpg UK while the all-wheel-drive model will return about 51.4mpg UK.

The CR-V will also come with a Multi-Mode Drive system that will allow drivers to switch between three driving modes, EV, Hybrid or Engine drive for the best efficiency. Customers in Europe can start placing orders for the CR-V Hybrid this month.
