Honda Civic Offering 600hp With Hybrid Engine

Before you start getting all excited, the Honda Civic mentioned here is a school project so chances of us seeing it out on the road are pretty slim but that does not mean we can admire their work.

The Honda Civic here was created by graduate students at Clemson University. With Honda’s sponsorship, they were able to build the Deep Orange 9. The base of the vehicle is the current Honda Civic sedan body which was fitted with a 2.0-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine as well as an electric motor for the front axle.

This will allow the vehicle to have an output of 600hp. With all that power, it will only need 2 seconds to go from 0-60mph. Thanks to the hybrid powertrain, the vehicle will also be a lot more fuel efficient now.

The final result is a Honda Civic that most fans would want to test drive.
