GTA 5 Hiatus Fuels PS4 & Xbox 720 Murmur

News has come out from Rockstar of a delay of four months for GTA 5 so the developers can polish the game up to make it even better. Product-Reviews points out that it is now said that it will be released in September and now there is talk that the game may be making the switch to the next generation consoles.

GTA 5 saved for Xbox 720 & PS4 (rumor)

Fans of the GTA 5 wanted to see it come out in spring of this year, however there may not be too many complaints as Rockstar are known to deliver games that are amazing and the game is delayed so it can be polished. However the four months will be a long wait and rumours are going around that Rockstar could be using the extra time to bring the game to the Nintendo Wii U along with PC.

Towards the end of last year Rockstar did say that they were considering the PC and Wii U versions of the game. So could we see a Wii U port of GTA 5 arrive at the same time that we see it on the PS3 and Xbox 360? Or could it be too late for this to happen? The developers might of course not want to make a standard port if they could not give it full attention, similar to what happened with Tomb Raider.

Another talking point came out of this in the form of next generation consoles. It is thought that the Xbox 720 and Sony PS4 will come towards the end of 2013. GTA 5 is now confirmed to be coming out of 17th September, so are Rockstar taking a huge risk if the consoles come just months later?
