Google Nexus 6P Issues Continue To Grow

By  |

One handset that has done well since it came out onto the market is the Google Nexus 6P. While there is a great deal to like about the device it does seem that there are some issues with it too.

Some owners of the Google Nexus 6P have reported they have seen issues and one issue that has had them fuming is the fact that the handset seems to go into landscape mode on its own accord and then owners cannot get it to go back.

Along with this the Google Nexus 6P has other issues and one of them is that the phone locks up when the owner is taking a call. Some issues have also been reported with the touchscreen sensors. This has led to some owners taking their handsets back to the store for a refund as the issues seem to be with the hardware and they are widespread.

Do you own the Google Nexus 6P and do you have any issues with the device?

I’ve had problems with charging the phone. I have to be extra careful when plugging in the USB-C plug or it will not charge..

Some minor issues, but all in all a solid phone.

I’ve had my 6P since 12/10/2015, and had zero issues. It’s current on updates (Android 6.0.1, security patch level February 1, build number MMB29Q). Lucky boy, I guess.

    1. Phone locking is a common phenomenon and we make the service provider responsible. This is however a problem on Google Nexus 6P.
2.This smartphone is not friendly for use of MS Office files, which I often require.
    3. Shifting from one file/view to other is not friendly.
