Google Nexus 6P Fails In A Big Way: No VR Support

By  |

The Google Nexus 6P fails in a big way and this is that the handset doesn’t offer up support for the Daydream VR. This is down to the hardware of the handset not being able to deal with VR usage as there is a good chance that the vehicle would overheat.

Owners of the Nexus 6P were never promised VR support anyway when they bought the device, so they cannot really complain about it.

Some people have suggested that Google is abandoning the Nexus devices and going instead over to the Pixel handsets, but it seems that this isn’t going to be the case.

Anyone who owns the Google Nexus 6P can enjoy camera improvements thanks to the Pixel, if they choose to install Camera NX mod. This also helps with the camera software lag issues on the handset.

The Nexus 6P is also getting updated to Android 7.0 Nougat, so owners of the device really cannot complain all that much. But what do you think about the handset not having support for VR?
