Google Nexus 5: What LG Would Do If It Had Another Shot

By  |

The LG Nexus 4 is selling well and difficult to get a hold of since it was launched. There were also rumours going around that the LG Optimus G Pro was headed our way and confirmation of this has been now seen in renders along with prematurely leaked promotional materials.

The LG Optimus G Pro in set to come out in Japan on NTT DoCoMo first and it will have a screen of 1080p HD at 5 inches. The battery is 3000mAh. The device will have to compete with the likes of the HTC M7, the Sony Xperia X and the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Now since the LG Nexus 4 was based on the LG Optimus G, if LG were to release a new Google Nexus 5 then they could likely base it off this device given it is the sequel to the Optimus G.

So the Google Nexus 5 could have the HD 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920p, it could come with a quad core processor of 1.7GHz, have LTE, 2GB of RAM, a camera of 13 megapixels as the main one and a 2 megapixel on the front and this should record video at 1080p.

The LG Nexus 4 came with some great hardware but it was let down due to lack of storage and LTE; the maximum storage being 16GB. So let’s hope if LG make the next Nexus device it will be modeled more closely to the G Pro so these issues are remedied.
