The Google Nexus 4 is popular with both developers and owners and so this is one of the reasons why developers are offering custom ROMs. Custom ROMs often give owners options that are not available in official ROMs. Developers are now offering updates by way of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The Google Nexus 4 is such a great device that developers are now offering two ROMs. One of them is from Dmitry Grinberg and the other comes from Aldrin Holmes. If you want to put a custom ROM onto your Google Nexus 4 you can go ahead and follow the steps below.

1. Start by transferring the TWRP file to the device and update/install it.
2. Turn off the device and switch it on to the Recovery Mode (Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button).
3. Wait for the TWP UI to load up, then choose Wipe > Factory Reset.
4. Next, transfer one of the ROM-GApps into the device and reboot to enter Recovery mode again.
5. Now, you are ready to enjoy the Marshmallow update on your Nexus 4.

If you have followed the steps from above you should now be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed on your Google Nexus 4.
