Google Isn’t Hesitant On Android Wear 2.0 Anymore

By  |

Google revealed Android Wear 2.0 in May of last year and previews of it were released to developers. It was supposed to be out in fall of 2016, but then it got delayed and the new time frame was said to be in early 2017.

Now we have a better idea of when Android Wear 2.0 is going to arrive thanks to an email that Google sent out to those who are developing apps for the platform.

The emails tells us that Android Wear 2.0 is going to be coming our way during early February and developers will then be able to update any apps they have made so that they can take full advantage of the new features it brings. Android Wear 2.0 will come with on-watch Play Store, Google Assistant and plenty of other improvements.

Google has given us confirmation about two new smartwatches that will be making their way out this year and as expected these are going to be the first devices to come with Android 2.0 installed.

Due to this it is thought that the watches will released just before the release of Android Wear 2.0 in early February.
