Genesis Sedan Still On The Table Despite Drop In Popularity

By  |

It is clear that SUVs are becoming more and more popular now while sedan vehicle takes a back seat and while automakers like Ford are ready to drop their sedan models and focus on crossovers and SUVs, Genesis seems to think that there is still a market for sedan models.

According to Genesis, sedans is still a pretty popular model in Korea and because of that, it made sense that they would keep offering sedan models but they did also add that they can see that sedans might be losing the battle while SUV is gaining more and more traction.

Luc Donckerwolke from Hyundai also seems to think that there might be a post-SUV time coming soon when the interest in SUV models will die. He also hinted that they are working on something for the post-SUV but did not elaborate on what it is going to be.

What do you think is next after the SUV trend?
