Fortnite High Stakes Update Downtime Announced

The weekly update might be late but Epic Games is ready to release it but before it arrives, there will be the usual round of maintenance first and Fortnite have already announced the time for when the servers will be taken offline.

According to Epic Games, the servers will go offline at 1 AM PT on the 6th of September. As usual, they did not reveal how long the maintenance will be but based on the last few updates, this should take a few hours only.

After the update, players will get to enjoy some of the new changes including the tweak that Epic Games will be making to the storm. The edge of the storm will now deal damage to players structure in the final phase of the march. They will also be adding the new Revolver into the game.

As explained, the patch was set to arrive earlier but later discovered a “critical controller issue” and was forced to push back the update.
