The SCH-W99 was launched on China Telecom around one year ago and the price tag was outrageous. Now Samsung have come up with another dual screen device that flips. The device was revealed at a charity concert as the SCH W2013 and it contains hardware that rivals the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Samsung Galaxy S3 hardware under a dual-display launched

It comes with a quad core processor of 1.4GHz, Android ICS and a 3.7 inch 800 x 480 Super AMOLED displays. The handset comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and there is SD card support up to 64GB. The device is powered by a battery of 1850mAh and there is a camera of 8 megapixels on the back along with a camera of 1.9 megapixels on the front.

So what we’re looking at here is a device that matches the Samsung Galaxy S3 in terms of hardware but has an extra display albeit of lower resolution. And that is not the only extra.

The flagship device for China Telecom will have dual SIM card support too for CDMA 8000/1900 and GSM 900/1800/1900. At the moment the cost of the device is not known. However it is thought that it will set you back around $2,900 to $2,210. The handset was handed to Jackie Chan at the charity concert.
