Ford Ranger Recalled Once More, Taillights Was The Issue This Time

Ford will be issuing another recall for the Ford Ranger. This will be the fifth recall that the Ranger will be getting.

According to NHTSA, the Ford Ranger will be recalled this time over a taillight issue. About 72,718 units in the US will be recalled with a few more in Canada. The Ranger was built from the 4th of June in 2018 to the 16th of August 2019. The report claim that the taillight might become inoperative because of a misaligned or improperly seated inline electric connector terminals.

Because of that, the lights will fail to signal the stop, turn or reverse function of the vehicle which would then affect the visibility and put the driver and passenger in further risk. Those affected will get its underbody inline connector inspected. Those with an issue will get re-pin into a replacement connector.

Recalls will start on the 6th of January 2020.
