Although the Ford Ranger is not being offered in the US right now, it was once offered in the US and it will be offered once more soon but before that happen, the older models are getting recall after Ford confirmed that the Takata airbag in the old pickup truck has been the cause of another death here in the US.

Ford has just issued a recall to recall 2900 units of their Ford Ranger. Ford did issue a recall to recall back 391,000 units of the old Ford Ranger two years ago and these new recall will affect 2900 of those models.

To make sure their drivers stay safe when they bring the Ranger back, Ford announce that they will pay to have the vehicles towed to the dealership or send a mobile repair team to the owner if needed.

These are not the only deaths caused by the faulty Takata airbag. 19 other death in Honda vehicles were also reported in the last few years.
