Ford F-150 Raptor Throws Chevy Silverado Into Deeper Despair

By  |

Ford has been trying hard to convince people that there is a substitute for displacement courtesy of their new Ford GT, which offers the V6 engine giving up 647 horses, along with the Ford 150 Raptor, offering 450 horses thanks to the V6 3.5 litre twin-turbo engine.

Even foregoing displacement the V6 engine is still going to have enough power to crush the FordF-150 Raptor and its V8 engine. However some people want to see what Ford might do if they go head to head with Chevrolet.

Chevrolet doesn’t offer up a truck with the potency of the Ford 150 Raptor, but they do have the Chevrolet Silverado1500 with the V8 6.2 litre which throws out 420 horses. While it might not reach the level of the Raptor, it does come in higher than the last Raptor version, which offered 411 horses.

Chevrolet did manage to save some face and they didn’t lose out too badly, however things did get very heated up when the Fiat Chrysler came into the picture. You can check for yourself in the video below.
