Ford EV Won’t Repeat Ford Focus Electric Mistake

By  |

Not many people will remember but Ford actually has a Ford Focus Electric model and that is because there is really nothing much to get excited about.

According to the reports, Ford only sold 501 units of the vehicle in June. This is despite the vehicle getting a range update going from 76mile of range to 115miles of range. That is because it is still far from what their rivals are offering right now.

In a recent interview with Engadget, Ford admitted that the Ford Focus Electric was not too exciting but they also added that future Ford EV models will be even more exciting and “awesome”. There is not a whole lot of information on what Ford has planned right now but it would be interesting to see what they can offer to would allow them to catch up to their rivals like the Chevrolet Bolt, Nissan Leaf, and the Tesla models.
