Although Ford has not said anything about the Ford Bullitt Mustang, some people believe that they are working on one and that we might get to see the vehicle at the Detroit Auto Show this year.

According to Automotive News, the Bullitt GT will be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show as a 2018 model but so far, Ford has not confirmed or denied the report. They only said that they are happy about the attention the vehicle is getting.

Many believe that Ford will unveil it because this year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1968 film Bullitt. Ford also hinted that they were going to sell a special new Ford Mustang at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale this year but the latest image posted by the auction site seems to suggest that the vehicle could be the Mustang GT 390s that McQueen drove in the film.

All of these are just speculations now so that it with a pinch of salt.
