FCA Had Plans For Dodge Demon Before 800hp Mustang & Camaro Rival

Car lovers the world over are eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Dodge Challenger Demon and they are expecting big things from it. The vehicle is going to arrive with weight loss, larger fenders and more performance and it will compete with the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro.

Of course this isn’t the first time that Dodge has revealed a Demon. Ten years back there was another demon of a car and it was a little roadster that arrived to take on the Miata. It came in just a little shorter than the MX-5 and offers 172 horses thanks to the 2.4 litre four cylinder engine. It offers the looks of baby Viper, while the interior was simple and plain. What let it down was the fact that it didn’t drive all that well.

So it looks like FCA did have plans for a Dodge Demon way before they came up with the Dodge Challenger Demon to rival the Camaro and Mustang, but it didn’t quite pan out.

Let’s just hope that when the Dodge Challenger Demon does make its way out it will be all that people think it is.
