With Epic offering up some free games every week, there were some talks about how Epic could be ruining it for the developer since everybody will get the free game and not pay for the game but according to the reports, that is far from the case.
According to Tim Sweeney, the Epic Games founder, game developers are seeing better sales of their game after the game was put up on the store as one of the free games. He explains that players will get to try out a genre that they might not consider in the past and end up living what they see.
He added that a lot of games were discovered this way and ultimately, it would benefit the game developers.
In the interview, Sweeney also explains how they are looking to bring the Epic Games Store to iOS and Android as well but did not say when we will be seeing it.
