With so many older games now being ported over to the Nintendo Switch console, some people are hoping that the Elder Scrolls Online will be ported over as well but it looks like we can forget about that.

According to Matt Firor, the game director, they had considered offering the game on the Nintendo Switch but then realize that the game file size is just too big for the Switch. He added that the game is about 75GB in size right now which is more than double what the NBA 2K19 file size is.

Although fans won’t get o play Elder Scrolls Online on Switch, they will get to play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls: Legends on the console. It actually does not surprise us that Elder Scrolls Online could not make it over since there is so few MMO on Switch.

Switch users do have Dragon Quest X MMO right now but only in Japan
