Samsung Galaxy S3 & iPhone 5 Can’t Beat Motorola DROID RAZR HD MAXX Battery Life

While the name may be a bit on the ridiculous side there is not a device on the market that can beat the battery life of the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD, not even the Samsung Galaxy S3 and dare we say it – the unannounced iPhone 5 with its rumored 1,430mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S3 & iPhone 5 can’t match 21 hours of DROID RAZR HD MAXX talk time

The device has a 4.7 inch HD display in Super AMOLED with 1280 x720 pixels, 1GB of RAM, support for 4G LTE and a dual core 1.5GHz processor. The handset comes with ICS but will be updated to Jelly Bean very soon. There is an 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3 on the front and there is support for SD card if the 32GB on-board storage is not enough for you.

Motorola apparently wants to be known for their batteries and the one on the Maxx HD is a massive 3300mAh. This should offer around 21 hours of talking, 27 hours of music streaming or 32 hours of the mix. Compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 and its 2,100mAh battery, it seems like a behemoth. Even the iPhone 5 is expected to remain around the 1,500mAh mark.

Along with the very impressive battery is the back which is made of Kevlar which Motorola says is waterproof.
