Dodge Viper Won’t Stay Dead

A lot of people were not too happy when Dodge announce that they were going to stop the production of the Viper last year. Although production has ended for the Dodge Viper, Dodge had continued to offer the Viper. In fact, the last sale was in April.

Now, new reports are suggesting that Dodge might start producing the Dodge Viper again although the new Vipers might come in looking a little different.

According to Car and Driver, the new Dodge Viper will be coming with the same front-mid engine and rear wheel drive but the engine will come with two less cylinders now. It is said that the V10 engine will be replaced by the naturally aspirated Hemi V8 engine that will be offering about 550hp.

To make up for the loss of horsepower, the Dodge Viper will be getting more aluminum and carbon fiber made parts. We do not know when the new Viper will be arriving but most people believe we will only see it in 2022 or later.
