Detroit Auto Show Will Move Out Of CES’s Way

By  |

It was clear that a lot of automakers were choosing not to show off their vehicle at the Detroit Auto Show in favour of other shows like CES and the organizers are hoping that things would get better if they change the date.

There were already rumours suggesting that the Detroit Auto Show might have moved to the summer and now it has been confirmed. For 2020, the Detroit Auto Show will be happening on the 8th of June. Initial speculation suggested that the Detroit Auto SHow could coincide with the Detroit Grand Prix but it looks like they choose to have it after the Grand Prix.

According to the Detroit Auto Show organizers, the new date would provide automakers with more outdoor opportunities since it is now in the Summer which means automakers can start to get more creative with the way that they display and show off their vehicles.

Do you think this will save it?
