Dead Island 2: New Developer Did Not Like What They Saw

By  |

There hasn’t been much news ever since Deep Silver confirmed that the Dead Island 2 game is still being developed. Fans were hoping that we might get to see the game this year but based how things are going right now, it does not look like that might happen.

So far, the developer haven reveals anything new about the game or release any new detail. Some fans think that we might see something at E3 this year but that might not happen if the new rumor turns out to be true.

According to some of the new reports, Sumo Digital, the current developer for Dead Island 2 did not like what they saw when they took over the game and has decided to start fresh with the sequel. That means a new story, as well as new mechanics for the game.

If this turns out to be true, it certainly would explain why we haven seen anything after all this time. It could also mean that we might only see it in 2018. At this point, as long as they don’t cancel it, we are happy to just sit and wait.
