Consumer Reports Puts Surface On The List Once More
Consumer Reports took out the Microsoft Surface from their recommended list last year due to “poor predicted reliability as they reported that the device had a higher than average breakage rate when compared to other computers.
According to the reports, the survey held by CR revealed that computers sold from 2014 to 2017 were not as reliable as we thought it should be and because of that, Microsoft got their badge stripped off their Surface Pro, Surface Book, and Surface Laptop. However, that did not last long.
After having to spend a whole year without the CR recommended badge, Microsoft finally got it back this year as Consumer Reports return them the badge but the Surface Go which was released this year was not given the badge due to poor performance so clearly Microsoft still have some work to do if they want the badge on all their Surface devices.
