Black Ops 2: What Nuketown 2025 Environment Is Like

Treyarch have revealed their single player, multi-player and zombie maps for the highly anticipated Black Ops 2, but they so far have not mentioned the return of Nuketown. This is to be a makeover in a futuristic way as it will evolve into Nuketown 2025 in the new game.

Nuketown was very popular when it appeared in the first Black Ops, with some saying that it was the single most popular map of all time. This is probably the main reason why it is being kept a closely guarded secret at the moment.

However the developers have decided to reveal a small teaser of what you can expect when the new game comes out on the 13th November. It isn’t even a teaser really; it’s more like foreplay for the lead up to the game, albeit more of a kind of “wham bam” foreplay, as its only 5 seconds long. The teaser shows the environment of Black Ops 2 Nuketown which includes futuristic props, and these include a mannequin of a woman which gets blown up and a hydro car.

At the moment there isn’t any sign of a school bus, which was in the map on the original game, however it does have the same feel and look.

This Black Ops 2 map will only be available to those who have pre-ordered the game before the launch date and you cannot get it after the launch. In the Nuketown FAQ on the website it does say that the map isn’t DLC locked on the disc, but is a download which you can only unlock if you pre-order the game. It is not attached to your subscription to Elite.
