Chevrolet Silverado Goes Up Against Ford F-150 But Not Ridgeline In Ad

By  |

Recently Chevrolet revealed a new ad that was meant to promote the Chevrolet Silverado. However things didn’t go entirely their way. They used the general public instead of actors to judge the Chevy against the Ford F-150.

Both the Chevrolet Silverado and the Ford F-150 had concrete blocks poured from high onto the truck beds and the results showed the Silverado with dents and bends, while the F-150 truck bed received holes.

However things turned sour for Chevrolet as they hadn’t expected Honda would launch their own video showing the Honda Ridgeline in the same test. Thanks to the plastic bed of the Ridgeline it received only minor light scratches and made the Chevy look like a complete joke.

Chevrolet didn’t take this sitting down and they retaliated with a video using real people again to make fun of the aluminum that is used on the F-150. Chevrolet came up with a super hero concept, Aluminum Man and you can check the video below.
