Chevrolet Camaro vs Ford Mustang: Old Battle Far From Over

By  |

The Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang are seen are two of the top muscle cars in the market and these models have been battling against each other for the longest time. This year, we have a new Chevrolet Camaro that will be going up against a Ford Mustang that was released back on 2014, which model do you think will win?

The Chevrolet Camaro will come in with three engine options. The base model will be running on a 2.0-liter engine that will be delivering about 275hp. That is followed by a 2.3-liter turbo engine that will be delivering about 310hp. The there is the top of the engine that will be powering the SS model.

The Ford Mustang might have more hp to offer but the Camaro is lighter and smaller than the Ford Mustang.

In terms of looks, the Ford Mustang was released with a brand new impressive design that blew our minds. While Chevrolet also upgraded the Camaro, the changes are not as drastic as the Mustang.

Who do you think should win this year?

I own a 2014 Mustang GT convertible so my response may be a bit biased. That being said, the new Camaros have undergone quite the upgrade and look really great. Their performance on the track will be very interesting to see. The new 2015 and 2016 Mustangs now have independent suspension on all four corners. This should provide much improved handling capabilities. I find both vehicle very appealing and I’m looking forward to reading all about the track results.
