It looks like fans will have to wait a little longer before they can get their hands on the Chveolte C8 Corvette as Chevrolet officially announce that they will be pushing the production date back.
According to GM, the 40-day UAW autoworker sticker is the reason why they had to push back the production date of the C8 Corvette. As of now, the production date has been moved to February next year which means the delivery will only be starting at the end of next year or early 2021. The initial announcement suggested that customers will get it by the end of this year so that is a huge setback.
There were already talks about a delay possibly happening because Chevrolet is still working on fulfilling orders for the C7 Corvette but it looks like the rumors were right about the delay. Let’s hope they get this all sorted out soon.
