CES: Forget Galaxy S4, Samsung Shows Off S9 With Ultra HD Screen

Fans who have been waiting to see the Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiled and hoping to get a glimpse of its rumored flexible display at CES will now know that it isn’t coming. What we instead saw was the Samsung S9.

Now this isn’t 6 generations ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S3 but instead a TV. What makes it special however is that it has an Ultra HD display.

Samsung Galaxy S4 doesn’t show up at CES, S9 instead

At the CES on Monday Samsung revealed the 85 inch TV and it takes on the looks of a chalk board. The Samsung S9 UHD TV is able to convert HD into full HD and goes up to UHD level in quality. The TV is able to restore detail information and this ensures greater picture quality along with precision, which looks like real life. On top of this Samsung bragged about an interactive voice feature that is much like Siri. The TV is able to listen to your commands and it answers questions about programs that are on TV. Samsung tell us that this feature makes the TV set almost human.

There is no word on the price of the TV at the moment, or when it will be available. Samsung have also said that they have a 110 inch version, which will be revealed later in the year.

We’re not sure what we would do without Dwayne, especially on those days when we have a great scoop and our servers can’t handle the influx of traffic.
