Buick will be expanding its Velite 6 lineup with the addition of the Velite 6 Plus which will come with a bigger battery that will allow it to have a longer range compared to the standard model.
On the outside, the vehicle will look identical to the standard model but the Plus will be fitted with a 52.5kWh battery pack that will allow the vehicle to travel for about 255miles of range on a single charge. That is a decent improvement over the standard model that will come with a 35kWh battery pack and will have a range of 187miles.
With a fast charger, the vehicle will need 40 minutes to charge up to 80%. On top of having more range to offer, the Velite 6 Plus will also have more power to offer with the engine offering 148hp and 258lb ft of torque.
Features like the Forward Collision Alert, Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Zone Alert and more will be offered as standard features.
