The third campaign expansion for Borderlands 3, Bounty of Blood will be released this week and in their latest interview, Matt Cox, the creative director of Gearbox revealed some additional details about the DLC.
According to Cox, they wanted to take four gameplay objects that add them to the combat mix. He explains that these new gameplay objects were made to encourage players to tackle combat differently in the new expansion. There is something called the traitor weed that when shot will release bugs that will turn enemies to your side for a few seconds.
There is also the core-sploder that when melee, will shotgun out some high demand shrapnel. The other items include the breeze with is like a jump-pad and a telezapper which works as a teleporter.
In the video interview, we can see some of the new objects in action and how it will affect the game style.
