BMW’s Mini Considering A Brexit Of Its Own?

By  |

Now that Britain has decided to exit Europe, BMW is worried that that would heavily affect the sales of the Mini and because of that, BMW is looking at Netherlands or Germany for an answer.

According to Reuters, BMW might decide not the build the new electric Mini in Britain and might move the production to their Netherlands plant for maybe the plants in Germany.

At this point, nothing is certain yet so all we can do is wait and see. As for the electric Mini, there is not a whole lot of details now but Mini did suggest that the vehicles will come with a completely new technology and that the vehicles will be the next step in battery tech.

The Minis will be coming in as a 2019 model but before that happens, we should be seeing the new PHEV model next year.
