BMW X6 M vs Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe: Looks Can Be Deceiving

By  |

Seems like there’s a universal hate that unites everyone against this type of coupe-ish SUVs, and we don’t blame people for that (heck, we’re one of them, right?). But then again, when we’re talking about design, the BMW X6 M looks more appealing, hands-down.

But Mercedes came up with the AMG GLE63 S Coupe just to rival against the likes (or rather, the loathe) of the BMW SUV, because they think they could certainly do better. And guess what, they certainly did do better. The Merc has installed one of the most terrific-sounding engines in the world under the hood of the S Coupe, delivering around 577 horsepower.

While the X6 M is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine which produces around 567 horsepower (so close, yet so far!), on paper is actually 10hp shy of the GLE63 S. Could this be our finalized decision to go with the Merc being the ultimate winner in this showdown? Perhaps we’re forced to think so. You should probably let the video below do the talking.
