BMW M2 CS On The Table?

By  |

BMW has not said anything about offering a BMW M2 CS model but according to some of the reports, the vehicle is being considered. Here is what we know right now.

According to BMWBlog, BMW might be working on a CS version of the BMW M2 model. They added that the vehicle will most likely arrive at a limited unit model and that it could be arriving next year.

However, they also reported that BMW has not really given the project a greenlight yet as they are still considering whether it is the right move to release the vehicle right now. If the vehicle does arrive, it will most like come with a lighter body. Powering it could be the 3.0-liter twin turbo six-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 405hp and 406lb ft of torque.

With that engine, the BMW M2 CS will only need 4 seconds to go from 0-60mph with the seven-speed dual clutch. The manual transmission option will slow it down by 0.6 seconds.
