BMW iX3 EV Price Will Be The Deciding Factor

By  |

Most people were happy to hear that BMW is ready to come out with a real electric competitor when they showed off the BMW IX3 crossover concept at the Beijing Motor Show this year and while we don’t doubt that the production version will look great and have a lot to offer in this segment, the fans are worried that the price would hold it back.

Since this is a BMW after all, we know that it won’t be affordable but most people believe that it will come with a premium price tag which would be a pity.

From what we have been seeing so far, it looks like most of the concept design will be carried over to the production model but BMW will be toning down the front and rear bumpers. We also got to see the sensors that BMW will be fitting onto the production which will include the ultrasonics in the bumpers, radar units, and cameras.

The concept was fitted with a 70kWh battery pack that BMW said would be able to offer about 249miles and has an output of 268hp.
