Black Ops 2 For PS3: Corruption, Corruption Everywhere

There is no denying that the Black Ops 2 Zombie game is one of the best ever to be released. However those with the PS3 version of the game have been faced with many problems, with one of these being the fact that the console crashes.

Black Ops 2 for PS3 crashes

There has been a patch sent out for this, however the problem still happens. Now owners of the PS3 have also experienced issues with Black Ops 2 freezing up and this has meant a hard reset, leading to huge problems that are a nightmare for owners.

Since the game came out we have seen it on both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 does suffer from occasional connection issues; however the PS3 version has the more serious problems. If you have to hard reset your console then you will see a message telling you that the system storage may be “corrupted”. This can happen numerous times and rechecking the system is not something that you want to keep doing as it can take 2 to 3 hours each time to complete. Of course there is also the fact that crashes can damage the hard drive.

So have you had issues with the game freezing on the PS3 and are you having to hard reset it? I’ve done so twice now.

The only hope for fans Black Ops 2 with a PS3 is that the patch 1.0.4 will remedy the issue. Some users have said that since the first update their system doesn’t crash anymore, while others have said that their console is still highly unstable.
