Audi Won’t Need To Use New Naming Method Here

By  |

With all the powertrain options that Audi was offering in the US, it was getting harder and harder for them to name the vehicle in a way that would make more sense to the customer and that was why Audi announce that they were going to use a new naming system for their upcoming models.

However, don’t expect to see the same happening here in the US. According to Audi, they won’t have to do the same here in the US because there is just not that many powertrain options being offered here.

The new naming system would clearly show how much horsepower the car is offering instead of only showing the displacement of the engine since that is no longer telling thanks to diesel engines and turbocharged engines.

It would be nice to see the same changes being made here but it is not the end of the world if Audi decides not to do it in the US.
