Audi Q8 Mild-Hybrid Diesel Option The Only Option

If you like what the new Audi Q8 has to offer, you can order it now but only for the range-topping model.

The first option that will be offered in Europe will be the Audi Q8 50 TDI mode which will be powered by the mild-hybrid 3.0 liter TDI engine. The engine will be paired with a lithium-ion battery that will allow the vehicle to coast between 55km/h to 160km/h with the engine turned off.

The Audi Q8 is expected to return about 34.6 to 35.6mpg in the US and should be offering about 281hp and 442lb ft of torque and will only need 6.3 seconds to go from 0-62mph with a top speed of 152mph.

The interior will come with some of the biggest changes as the cockpit will almost have no buttons and knows. Instead, drivers will see two high-res touch display and the new Audi Virtual Cockpit with natural language voice control.

The first Audi Q8 will arrive in Europe this August and is expected to come with an $89,900 price tag.
