Audi PB 18 E-Tron Electric Concept Continues To Support Cameras

By  |

Audi is one of the first automakers to have a production model enter the market without a side mirror. The vehicle got a rearview camera instead and it looks like future Audi models would also follow that trend as the new teaser for their upcoming Audi PB 18 E-Tron suggest that it will also be missing its side mirrors.

Audi released a new teaser image for their Audi PB 18 E-Tron concept showing us the profile of the upcoming concept. Since the vehicle was blacked out, we only got to see the headlights, as well as that, looked like two protruding cameras on the A-Pillar of the vehicle.

While we can’t really tell what it is, many people believe that it is actually the cameras for the rearview camera feature. The new car will be based on the Le Mans series winner, the R18 E-Tron. That vehicle is a hybrid model so we expect the same from this model.

The new PB 18 E-Tron will make its debut on the 23rd of August at the Laguna Seca racetrack.
