By  |

It looks like you won’t be seeing the Audi E-Tron waiting at the dealer’s lot for some potential owners to come and get them as Audi announce that the Audi E-Tron will be an order-only model.

This way, the vehicle will not be taking up space at the dealer’s lot so there won’t be any allocation and floorplan expenses allowing Audi to cut on the cost and maximize the profit they get from the E-Tron.

Audi will be offering a refundable reservation with $!000 deposits. The Audi E-Tron will be built in Brussels, Belgium, where the battery is also being produced at so the production time, will also be shorter. However, according to Audi, the waiting time for those ordering from the US could take up to a year or more depending on the global demand of the Audi EV model.

Audi is currently offering the First Edition model which will be priced at $87,695. There will only be 999 units of these. The standard base model will retail for $75,795 while the Prestige model will retail for $82,795.
